I'm enrolled in this library since 3 months ago as outsider. The Nehru Library give you a immense stamna to read of full day. If you chasing a dream than every second of practice makes difference. Here we easily introspect ourself and self learn what we want. Library is neat & clean and surrounded by splendid atmosphere which enhance our bood circulation ( due to access of O2) & we easy to concentrate in our study.

One of the most advanced library for researcher and students of Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. Consists a number of varieties of book , journals , research papers etc. There also a newspaper room and a computer room for students.

Haryana Agricultural University was established as an autonomous body on February 2, 1970 by an Act of Parliament. Though the establishment of this Library coincides with the establishment of College of Veterinary Sciences in 1948, the year 1975 is a land-mark in its history, as the present library building - named after Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India - was officially dedicated to the university community in this year. The University Library, endeavoring over the last 30 years to leap forward in presenting new models in order to incorporate and emphasize the cardinal aspects of knowledge for scholarly pursuits, has carved a niche for itself in the arena of university setup. The magnificent library building - a blend of functional structure, elegance and exquisiteness - is centrally located within an easy access from all the constituent colleges of the university, hostels and residential areas.
